You are bound by method360’s disclaimers by agreeing to them when accepting the terms and conditions of sales.

Use

The personal information and sensitive information which method360 collects and holds is used for performing services. We do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise disclose any personally identifying information to any third party. We may provide summarised information and statistics about our customers, sales, site traffic, and related site information to third parties such as our marketing consultant but in no event will we disclose any personally identifying information.

The method360 commitment

method360 respects the privacy rights of all individuals. It is important to our members that individuals dealing with them are confident that they respect their privacy when handling their personal information and any sensitive information collected. method360 is committed to ensuring that the director, officers and employees of method360 complies at all times with the requirements of the Privacy Act and the National Privacy Principles.

Online Privacy

method360 may record IP addresses that visit www.method360.com.au, as well as date and time of site visit, and pages viewed. transactional information (i.e., credit card information, purchases, etc.) and secure information (i.e., passwords).This information is used to administer the site, analyse usage trends, track user movements around the site, gather broad statistical information, and further develop the site. In addition, method360 may make use of "cookies." That will be stored on your computer by the web server through your browser for record keeping purposes. The information can be retrieved in order that we can tailor, review, or regulate the use of the site. method360 is not liable for privacy practices of any external websites linked to the website www.method360.com.au

Security

The method360 website employs the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software and certification to encrypt data transfer between the user and method360 and method360 and eWay payment gateway.
method360 online payments are powered by eWay, an established and trusted Australian credit card payment gateway. eWay complies with the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), a standard imposed on the industry by major card issuers such as Visa and MasterCard. The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) is a set of guidelines developed to help organisations that process card payments prevent credit card fraud, hacking and various other security issues. A company processing, storing, or transmitting credit card numbers must be PCI DSS compliant or they risk losing the ability to process credit card payments.

eWay operates a firewall that is regularly updated, and all credit card details are immediately deleted from the Internet Server. There are policies and procedures in place to keep your credit card numbers secure and confidential, and intruder detection software and procedures to deal with any breach, and ensure that your credit card details and other sensitive information remains secure and confidential.
Please note, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we employ the highest industry standards and use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Information Held

method360 collects and holds personal information, such as that comprising or contained in:
• General contact details;
• Correspondence;
• Employee and contractor curricula vitae;
• Credit references and ratings;
• Bank account details;
• Usernames and Passwords
• Information obtained or compiled from publicly available sources.

This information is stored in electronic databases that are password protected, or in locked filing cabinets or secure office facilities. Personal information or sensitive information may sometimes be collected by method360 when it or they are specifically contracted to do so by a government, private sector or other agency ("third party agencies"). Third party agencies may also disclose to method360 personal information or sensitive information in connection with services which method360 or its affiliates are engaged to perform for the third party agency. method360 may from time to time use information held to contact the user regarding promotional or administration updates.

Exemptions

Certain exemptions under the Privacy Act may apply to some personal information which method360 holds, and to the acts or practices of method360 in relation to that information. These exemptions might include those relating to employee records, and acts and practices engaged in the capacity of a contracted service provider for a State or Territory contract, when those acts or practices are directly or indirectly related to meeting obligations under the contract.

method360 may from time to time contract out services that involve disclosing personal information where this is required by or otherwise relates to the performance of the contracted services for or on behalf of a third party agency.

However, method360 does not envisage circumstances in which they or any of them would contract out services that involves disclosing personal information in any other circumstances. method360 is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of any sites linked to or linked from.

Complaints and contact details

An individual may obtain more information on request about the way in which method360 manages the personal information and any sensitive information which they or any of them hold.

Terms and Conditions

• Terms and conditions apply to all sales and contracts between method360 and the customer within Australia and New Zealand.
• All prices are in $AUD and exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated and are subject to change at the discretion of method360.
• Courses will not take place until the minimum requirement of bookings has been met for that course. method360 reserves the right to cancel all courses without liability.
• Payment for a course will not be processed until the minimum requirement of bookings has been met for that course
• Payment for public courses must be made in full prior to attending the course.
• Substitute delegates can be made at the discretion of method360 unless examinations have been booked with the exam provider. This will require proof of suitable photo identification from both parties involved prior to acceptance. All changes must be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Terms

• Cancellation within 7 calendar days of the course commencement will attract a 100% cancellation fee or transfer to the next available course at the discretion of method360.
• Cancellation within 14 calendar days of the course commencement will attract a 50% cancellation fee or transfer to the next available course at the discretion of method360.
• Cancellation 15 calendar days or greater of the course commencement will attract a 7% cancellation fee or transfer to the next available course at the discretion of method360.
• All cancellations shall be confirmed in writing by email.
• Only one transfer permitted per customer per booking, subsequent transfer requests shall be subject only to cancellations.
• method360 reserves the right to refuse bookings at our discretion.
• method360 reserves the right to cancel or change dates and/or venues if there insufficient or excess bookings without liability to method360.
• Should method360 make a course cancellation, every effort will be made to transfer customers to an alternate course either the next course being held by method360 or by one of its affiliates. In the instance of method360 not providing an alternative, then the course fee will be refunded in full.
