Training Course Structure:

2 days face to face training. Target Audience and pre-requisites Senior project managers, project managers of large or complex projects, portfolio or program managers or those managing cross functional and difficult work allocations. A solid understanding of project management; previous project management training is required.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Hold a project management qualification of Diploma of Project Management or Higher; or.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of project management theory

    Portfolio, Program and Complex Projects Course Description:

    This is an advanced program that focuses on the differences between portfolio, program and complex projects, their management practices, and the roles, responsibilities and skill sets needed to successfully achieve them. This program looks at the strategic alignment of portfolios, programs and complex projects and how they are operationalised through projects within the organisation. Also examined is the need for a balanced approach between the application of strategic project management methodologies, and the operational requirements of running the business. Both are essential to achieve corporate goals and realise benefits.
